Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and, if you sign up as a photographer, profile details you choose to add: a bio, location, studio address, portfolio images, pricing, categories, and social/website links.

If you sign up with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account instead of a password.

Booking requests, quote requests, messages between clients and photographers, and reviews are stored so both sides of a conversation can see their own history and so photographer ratings can be calculated.

Portfolio images, avatars, cover photos, and open-slot photos are stored so they can be shown on the site. Portfolio images are also processed through an AI model to generate a “style embedding,” a numeric representation of the image’s visual style, which powers the style-based search and match features. This embedding is derived from the image; it isn’t reviewed by a person as part of that process.

Every image you upload is automatically screened for explicit or suggestive content before it’s saved, and rejected if flagged. This is an automated check, not human review.

A photo you upload to the “Find your match” style-search tool is used only to run that search. It isn’t saved to your account or shown to anyone else.

• To operate the marketplace: showing photographer profiles, handling bookings and quote requests, and connecting clients with photographers.
• To send you email about your account activity (a new booking or quote request, a status update, or a message), using your real email address as the reply-to, even though the message is sent from a lookspo.com address.
• To power search and matching, including the AI style-match feature described above.
• To screen uploaded images for inappropriate content, as described above.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We don’t sell your information. We share it with:

• Other users, where the site is designed to show it: a photographer’s public profile and portfolio, or the two sides of a booking/quote conversation.
• Service providers who help us run the site: Supabase (accounts, database, image storage), Resend (email delivery), Replicate (the AI models behind style search/matching), and Google Cloud Vision (automated image moderation). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account, as part of that sign-in flow.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and, briefly during signup, to carry over choices you made before an account existed yet (like your intended role or neighborhood). We also use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage (pages visited, general traffic patterns), which doesn’t include the contents of your bookings, messages, or account details.

You can edit or remove your profile information, portfolio images, avatar, and cover photo at any time from your dashboard. You can delete your account entirely from Account settings, which removes your profile and associated data.
