Lookspo

Trust & safety

What Lookspo does, and doesn’t do, to keep the marketplace trustworthy.

Every image is automatically screened

Portfolio photos, avatars, cover images, and open-slot photos are all run through an automated check for explicit or suggestive content before they’re saved, and rejected if flagged. This is an automated screen, not a person reviewing every upload.

Reviews are self-reported, not verified bookings

A review comes from a signed-in user saying they worked with that photographer, one review per client per photographer, and you can’t review your own profile. What we don’t do today is confirm that a specific booking or session actually happened before a review can be posted, Lookspo doesn’t have a formal “completed” status on bookings to check against yet. Treat reviews as honest accounts from real accounts, not a verified transaction record.

Your content stays yours

Photographers keep full ownership of everything they upload. Listing on Lookspo doesn’t give us or anyone else exclusivity over that work, you can still use, license, or display it anywhere else. The one thing we do reserve is a non-exclusive right to use portfolio images in Lookspo’s own marketing (on the site, social, ads); see our Terms of Service for the full explanation.

Bookings and payment happen off-platform

Lookspo connects clients and photographers, it isn’t a party to the shoot, the price, or the payment. Confirm details directly with the other person before treating anything as final, the same as you would arranging any service directly with someone you found online.

Reporting a concern

Run into a fake profile, inappropriate content that slipped past automated screening, or someone misusing the site? Email hello@lookspo.com with what you saw and, if relevant, a link to the profile or listing. We don’t yet have an in-app report button, this inbox is the way to reach us.
